A man is accused of killing his 6-year-old kid in a horrifying event in Mumbai after a quarrel with his wife on Saturday.
The Incident took place in Mumbai’s Malad neighbourhood on Saturday morning.
According to Mumbai Police, accused Nandan Adhikari allegedly killed his son Lakshya during an altercation with his wife Sunita. Sunita dropped off her 13-year-old daughter to school on Saturday morning, and when she came home, she saw Lakshya’s body lying on the floor of the house in a pool of blood. A sharp object sliced open his throat.
Adhikari was detained by the Malwani Police, and a complaint was filed in accordance with section 302 of the IPC. The child’s body was taken into custody by police and submitted for a post-mortem.
According to the police, the accused admitted to the crime. Mumbai Police discovered after questioning that the couple used to argue often over various issues.
