Fourth Pakistan drone shot down in Amritsar in last 2 days: BSF

The Border Security Force (BSF) Officers have shot down a Pakistani drone, the fourth one in the last two days, in Punjab’s Amritsar.

The Border Security Force (BSF) Officers have shot down a Pakistani drone, the fourth one in the last two days, in Punjab’s Amritsar, officials said on Saturday, as reported by ANI. Besides shooting down the drone, the officials have also seized a bag containing suspected narcotics from Amritsar. Earlier, BSF shot down two drones in Amritsar on Friday.

BSF Punjab Frontier said in a tweet, “๐…๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ญ๐ก ๐ƒ๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐ž ๐’๐ก๐จ๐ญ ๐ƒ๐จ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ฒ ๐๐’๐… ๐ข๐ง ๐Ÿ ๐๐š๐ฒ๐ฌ. A drone from #Pakistan violated Indian Airspace & was intercepted(by fire) by #AlertBSF troops of #Amritsar Sector. During search, the drone & a bag of suspected narcotics has been recovered.”

BSF troops have recovered a black drone in partially broken condition from the farming fields as per ANI. During the second incident, the troops shot down a drone from Pakistan. They also recovered a consignment containing 2 packets of what they suspect to be narcotics, attached to the drone. The approximate weight of the consignment is 2.6 Kg. It is suspected to be heroine.
