In Gwalior district, Madhya Pradesh, a tragic accident occurred as a tractor collided with a bike, leading to one fatality and two individuals sustaining injuries. The incident took place in the Jaderua area under the jurisdiction of the Murar police station on Monday.

Three persons were on the bike during the collision, resulting in the rider’s immediate death, while the passengers at the rear suffered injuries and were taken to the district hospital for treatment.

Reacting to the incident, the victim’s family members expressed anger and set the tractor on fire, subsequently blocking the road. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police and fire brigade teams rushed to the scene.

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP, Crime Branch) Rishikesh Meena provided details, stating, “A tractor and a bike collided head-on in which one person died on the spot while two others sustained injuries. Before reaching the spot, the angry family members of the victim set the tractor on fire. On receiving information, the police team immediately rushed to the spot, and fire extinguishers were also sent there.”

CSP and SDM were present at the scene to address the concerns of the victim’s family. An investigation into the matter has been initiated, and action will be taken against the accused, according to Meena.

SDM Devdutt Sharma mentioned, “The family members demanded action against the accused and financial assistance should be provided to them. Our efforts will be made to provide the maximum help to the family according to the rules. Along with this, the police team is engaged to nab the accused into the matter.”

As an immediate measure, Rs 30,000 has been provided to the victim’s family, with the remaining amount to be given after completing the proper investigation procedure, as informed by Sharma.
