The following ministers will take their oaths on Saturday: HK Patil, Krishna Byregowda, N Cheluvarayaswamy, K Venkatesh, HC Mahadevappa, Eshwar Khandre, Kyathasandra N Rajanna, Dinesh Gundu Rao, Sharanabasappa Darshanapur, Shivanand Patil, Timmapur Ramappa Balappa, SS Mallikarjun,

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi in Delhi on Friday.

Earlier on May 24, CM Siddaramaiah arrived in Delhi to meet with party leaders to discuss Cabinet expansion.

On May 18, CM Siddaramaiah was unanimously elected as the CLP leader in Karnataka, after the Congress party finalised its CM candidate following a landslide victory in Karnataka.
On May 20, Siddaramaiah took the oath of office as Chief Minister, alongside DK Shivakumar, his deputy, and the other eight ministers.

The Congress Party won 135 seats in the 224-member Karnataka Assembly elections on May 10, defeating the ruling BJP, which received 66 seats from its only southern state.
