KCR releases Poachgate footage, says will share with CJI, HC

Allegations of poaching have been refuted by the BJP, which claims that the drama was “written, directed, and staged” by the Chief Minister.

K Chandrashekar Rao, the chief minister of Telangana, often known as KCR, had an unannounced press conference on Thursday and played a number of recordings that he said supported his party’s claims that the BJP was stealing MLAs from his party.

KCR said he had over an hour of hidden camera footage that implicated the BJP and presented the four Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLAs who had allegedly foiled an effort to bribe them off. At the news conference, he played the tapes for five minutes.

KCR claimed he will transmit the films to senior justices of the Supreme Court, High Courts, and opposition leaders, pleading with them to “rescue the country.” He said that the BJP was attempting to overthrow the governments of Rajasthan, Delhi, and Telangana.

According to the BJP, the alleged poaching incidents were “fabricated video recordings with paid actors.” The Telangana Chief Minister was criticised by Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, who stated, “It demonstrates the amount of terror that has set in among the farm home family.”

“Some traders from Delhi arrived to undercut Telangana’s self-respect… They presented the four MLAs who had summoned the police to the farmhouse and claimed an “Operation Lotus” at a rally two days earlier, Mr. Rao stated “.

Three persons, including a businessman, were detained. Nanda Kumar, Simhayaji Swamyat, and Ramachandra Bharati, also known as Satish Sharma, have been jailed for 14 days.

Pilot Rohith Reddy, a Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA who filed a police report on Wednesday, said that Ramachandra Bharati and Nanda Kumar, both members of the BJP, met with him and promised him 100 crores to join the party.

The lawsuit stated that they also threatened to press criminal charges against them through central authorities like the Central Bureau of Investigation if they did not comply.
