Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) unveiled its second list of 117 candidates for the 4 December elections for 250-ward Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) on Sunday.

AAP also made fun of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), claiming that the citizens of Delhi will elect them in order to remove the “Garbage Mountains” that the BJP has given them.

Tweeting out the list of candidates, AAP stated “Here is our second list of contenders for the forthcoming MCD elections! Congrats to everyone. Jhaadu will be elected in Delhi to remove the “3 Garbage Mountains” that BJP has given the city.”

Shortly after BJP published its initial list of 232 candidates for the local body elections, AAP announced its second list.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has challenged BJP to list five accomplishments in the MCD during past 15 years.

AAP had published its initial list of 134 candidates on Friday. Bobby Kinaar, a member of the transgender community, has been nominated by the party to run in the Sultanpuri-A ward in the next elections.
