Haryana: Miscreants chopped off a man's hand in Kurukshetra

An unidentified miscreants severed a man’s hand in Haryana’s Kurukshetra on Monday. According to authorities, the accused later removed his hand.

According to officials, the victim, Jugnu, has been brought to the Lok Nayak Jay Prakash Narayan Hospital in severe condition. The event occurred in Kurukshetra Haveli, which is under the jurisdiction of Sadar Police Station, and an investigation is underway.

Officials stated that they were reviewing CCTV video in order to identify the culprits.

“Ten to twelve guys wearing masks entered the Kurukshetra Haveli and assaulted the victim Jugnu, chopping off his hand. The precise cause of the occurrence is unknown” stated DSP Ramdutt Nain.

He stated that the victim has been admitted to Loknayak Jayaprakash Hospital for treatment.

He went on to say “His statement will be recorded, and a case will be opened as a result. CCTV video will be scanned as well.”

According to eyewitnesses, the victim was seated outside Kurukshetra Haveli when ten to twelve guys attacked him with sharp weapons.

They severed his hand and carried it with them as they fled.
