Father of deceased received a cryptic SMS that mentioning, “Rathore Sahab Apka Beta Bohot Bahadur Tha…Gustakh-e-Nabi ki ek saza, sar tan sey judaa (Beheading is the sole penalty for those who offend Prophet Muhammad)” and later discovered mangled body of his son, Bhopal engineering student on railroad lines close to Raisen.
After getting the message, father attempted to contact his son but was unable. Deceased’s sister then went to the police after father had shown her the note.
Later they were informed that a youngster was missing, and then his corpse was discovered on railroad lines close to Raisen. The body is being post-mortemed.
The reason of death is unknown at this time. The inquiry is under progress, stated Sachin Atulkar, additional deputy commissioner of police.
A train that was in motion ran over the youngster, killing him. All possible aspects are being looked at since it is unclear at this point whether it is a murder or a suicide.
Vikas Sehwal, the superintendent of police in Raisen, stated, “Train ran over the youngster, killing him. The issue surrounding murder or suicide is unclear at this time. Clarity will be provided by the forensic examination of the deceased’s phone and data. Probe was being conducted from all directions.”
Deceased’s father also said that his son was quite composed and could not have committed suicide; out of fear of murder, the father ordered a police inquiry.
However, in a statement father quoted, “He’s incapable of ending his life. My son had nothing to do with any philosophy, thus I am unable to grasp the message being sent. He never voiced an opinion on any religious or political subjects. Why would my kid commit suicide if there is no justification for doing so? “
