Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the Indian diaspora in Tokyo on Monday as part of his two-day visit to Japan for the Quad Summit. Modi had separate bilateral discussions with Japanese business executives earlier in the day after arriving in Tokyo at the request of his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida.
“Whenever I visit Japan, the people show me a lot of love. Some of you have lived in Japan for many years and have assimilated its culture. “The commitment to Indian culture and language continues to develop,” Modi stated during the ceremony.
