The Congress party’s national secretary, Priyanka Gandhi Vadhra, said on Tuesday that the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ will bring people together on concerns such as inflation and unemployment, among others.

“We are beginning a constructive political movement. We want to hear from you and help you with your difficulties. We want to bring our beloved nation back together. Let us work together to bring India together “In a Facebook video, Priyanka remarked.

She went on to say that politics today has turned a blind eye to people and their problems.

“Today’s political debate is not focused on the people of the country; rather, it has gone in an entirely new direction. Today’s politics has turned a blind eye to people and their problems. We hope to bring out the average man’s difficulties and concerns through this yatra “Priyanka said.

The top Congress party leader asked people to participate in the yatra, saying that people should band together to make the nation wealthy.

“Further information on the yatra will be available on the website ‘www.bharatjodoyatra.in,’ where inhabitants of the country may acquire in-depth detail about the yatra, the scheduling, and the numerous states it will pass through,” she said.

She went on to say that anyone who wants to compose a song, poem, or slogan may do so by using the hashtag ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra.’

The Congress party is also planning to launch the “Bharat Jodo Yatra” from Kanyakumari to Kashmir on Wednesday. The march is planned to last 150 days and cover around 3,500 kilometres.

The yatra will go primarily across 12 states, including Himachal Pradesh, where Assembly elections are scheduled for later this year.

“The country is facing major issues as a result of the Central Government’s anti-people policies. To raise the country out of these difficulties and save the country’s young, Congress will launch the Bharat Jodo Yatra, in which attempts would be made to link everyone “Mohan Prakash, National Spokesperson of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), stated this.

Instead of reducing inflation, the government, according to Prakash, is raising it, and the federal government is attempting to “destroy the democratic rights of individuals who raise their voice against it.”

Congress has been criticising the administration over price increases and unemployment, claiming that these are common-people concerns that should be addressed in all venues.

The yatra will consist of marches, rallies, and public meetings attended by prominent Congress officials such as Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. The Congress suffered humiliation earlier in this year’s assembly elections, and the yatra is considered an attempt to unify the party’s rank and file for the impending political contests.
