A video of a hit-and-run incident in Delhi has gone viral on social media.
On Sunday morning, the tragedy occurred directly beneath the Arjangarh metro station in New Delhi. A group of bikers riding on a Delhi road got into an argument with a man driving a Scorpio car in the footage. One of the bikers recorded the entire incident, which shows the car driver intentionally swerving his vehicle and hitting one of the bikers from the side. The rider loses control and falls off, colliding with a road divider as the car rushes away.
Shreyansh, a 20-year-old who was returning to Delhi from a biking trip with his friends, was the victim who fell from the bike. Shreyansh said, “I was returning with 8-10 of my friends from Gurugram to Delhi when he came near us and started rash driving.” He threatened and verbally abused my friend. My friends slowed down a little, but I drove ahead. The man sped up, hit my bike and sped away. “
The incident has been reported to the police, who are investigating it. The police have asked bikers to file a formal complaint.The police launched a case of attempted murder against the driver after the complaint was filed at the Fatehpur Beri police station. The car’s driver has been identified.
