According to the police, Special Task Force has detained six people in connection with the Haryana MLA threat case.

The authorities discovered information on 18 Virtual Numbers that were being run from abroad during their investigation. The police claimed that gangs with connections to Pakistan and Dubai were behind the threats made against the MLAs.

However, police claim that suspect detained in the case had direct ties to Pakistan and that money was transferred using the hawala system.

MLAs of Haryana, Punjab, and Delhi received threats in the months of June and July, and separate charges have been filed in response.

Manohar Lal Khattar, the chief minister of Haryana, had a meeting with senior police officials earlier in July to urge them to take harsh action in response to the issue of threats made to MLAs.

Chief Minister took notice of the situation and ordered the staff to respond right now.
