After the successful Yureka, YU Televentures is back with another value-for-money and budget smartphone. The company announced the release of Yuphoria on Tuesday. Priced at Rs. 6, 999 only, the latest entry in the smarthphones is similar to the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 2 and Lenovo A6000 Plus.

4. Remember the back of few Nokia Lumia phones including the Lumia 925 and 830? Yuphoria too has a similar removable plastic panel that fits snugly with the frame.

5. With, two micro sim-card slots and a microSD card slot, the back panel plate hides a detachable battery. Also, you will see a ring at the back surrounding the camera lens.

6. Yuphoria is powered by a 64 bit 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core chip, Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB DDR3 RAM. The latest product by YU has 16GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

7. This budget phone features an 8MP rear camera (f2.2 aperture, capable of 1080p video capture) with LED flash and a 5MP front camera (f2.0) with 86 degree wide angle lens.

8. Yuphoria runs Cyanogen OS12, a custom aftermarket edition of Android 5.0 Lollipop developed by Cyanogen that is known for its superior performance, added features and customizability.

9. Speaking about Yuphoria’s connectivity, it is a dual-sim smartphone that supports 3G, 4G (CAT 4, including TDD-LTE, Indian 4G bands), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

10. It comes with a 2230mAh high-density quick charge battery which according to the company’s claims delivers 160 hours of standby time and can get a 60% charge in 45 minutes.

YU Yuphoria overall is an excellent option especially with a priced it is offered at and the display that offers a first-class feel.
