New York: Apple's smartphone launch is the company's biggest event every year. This year the company is expected to launch the iPhone 7. The California based tech giant Apple, on Wednesday, 7 September officially launched their iPhone 7.
The much hyped iPhone 7 features a design that's very similar to last year's iPhone 6S (and the year prior's iPhone 6), with a rounded aluminium body.
But what's entirely new for iPhone users is that the phone is now water resistant, which means one can get their iPhone 7 wet without worry. Also new is the long-rumoured dual camera system, stereo speakers, and a darker black colour scheme which will be replacing it's much loved 'space grey'.
And, as expected, the Apple iPhone 7 does not have a headphone jack, rendering countless 3.5mm headphones useless with the device.
As per Apple, the new dual camera system allows for true 2x optical zoom without hampering the image quality. The tech giant also says that with the launch of the new device, the features in the new models have been bettered in comparison to its predecessors, like the new improved battery life which iPhone 7 will be equipped with.
Apple says the new iPhone will be available for customers on September 16th, though the pre-orders start today, putting an end to the hassle that the customers faced in past years.
