New Delhi: After providing customers with some extraordinary and exciting data plans and further challenging their competitors, Reliance is again back in the headlines.
Reliance made an extravagant announcement before presenting 'Jio' to the customers. However, Reliance kept the launch of its upgraded JioFi wireless hotspot a hush-hush.
The new upgraded JioFi wireless hotspot comes with an OLED display and an improved battery of 2600mAh. The OLED display on top shows the power status, remaining battery life and 4G signal strength. Reliance Jio reportedly claims that the device can give 5-hours of usage on a single charge. It also includes a micsoSD card support of up to 32GB.
The new upgraded device is priced at Rs 1,999. As per reports, the new JioFi 4G wireless hotspot supports just 10 devices as compared to the 31 device limit on its predecessor.
The JioFi hotspot will allow the phone to avail the speed of 4G along with placing calls and messages through the hotspot.
