Microsoft announces new budget Nokia phone with front flash

New Delhi: In a surprise move, technology giants Microsoft will launch a new Nokia Phone 'Nokia 216' at just Rs 2495. The phone will be available in markets from October 24.
Nokia 216 will be a feature category phone but with really impressive features. The phone will have a back and selfie camera with flash on both sides.
Aimed at the Indian market and first time phone buyers, Nokia 216 will let users to browse through Internet, Facebook, as it will come pre-installed with Opera Mini browser.
The phone will also support dual-SIM, MP3 player, FM Radio, SD card and Bluetooth audio. Though the company may be calling it an internet ready phone, it only supports 2.5G networks.
Microsoft had bought Nokia's phone business in April 2014 in $7.9 billion, but since then it has been struggling for success in the smartphone market through its 'Lumia' brand.
However, a lot of rumours about a high-end smartphone named as 'Surface' phone is doing the rounds in the technology industry where fans are desperately waiting for Microsoft to announce its 'Surface' phone that could even emerge as a solid competitor to Apple and other high phones.
