Be ready to face fine if you're caught carrying a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on flight

New Delhi: Samsung Galaxy Note 7  users who were apprehensive about carrying their phone in public or charging it now have their fear intensified after the United States passed an order which said that the airline passengers who are caught carrying Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on flight will be levied fine and their phone will be confiscated.

Even if the Note 7 has been turned off, it won't be allowed to board the cargo aircraft, the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration and the Federal Aviation Administration announced on Friday.

"We recognize that banning these phones from airlines will inconvenience some passengers, but the safety of all those aboard an aircraft must take priority. We are taking this additional step because even one fire incident in flight poses a high risk of severe personal injury and puts many lives at risk." US Transportation Secretary said.

After thousands of post about abrupt incineration of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, Samsung announced that it was halting production and sales of the device.
