NEW DELHI: Speculations over Apple’s latest release starts buzzing around as we start approaching the month of September. Even as we are two months away from Apple’s favourite month to launch its new series of its iPhones, latest revelations about Apple’s plans for its next line of iPhones clue to a third variation that will be smaller in size and have a metal casing.
Previous rumours pointed that the tech giant is currently working on a 4.7-inch model called iPhones 6S and a 5.5 inch iPhone 6S Plus.
On the other hand, if the latest stories are to be believed, the third variant will be a take on the iPhone 5C with a 4-inch display but use metal instead of a plastic casing.
According to a Business Insider report, apart from the supposed iPhone 6C being smaller in size and in metal casing, predictions from analysts at Jefferies also suggest that it would be launched in the first quarter of 2016 instead of September this year.
If released, the rumoured iPhone 6C would be backed with the latest iOS 9.
