Ever since Indian Independence from the British trap, women in India have broken the barriers of their households and stepped into the world which was primarily considered as male-dominant. Today, Indian women work shoulder to shoulder with men in every field whether it's sports, entertainment, politics or anything else. Women are no less, even in the battlefield.
Along with the completion of 70 years of Indian independence, it has also been 25 years since women were allowed in the Armed forces. NewsX takes this opportunity to salute all the women officers who are serving the nation for past 25 years. Colonel (Retd) Rajvardhan Singh Rathore and an entire panel of women officers disclose their pride in women in conversation with Priya Sahgal, Senior Executive Editor of NewsX.
