Recording calls on the iPhone has always been troublesome. One had to resort to the paid app that only works through a custom dialer or use the conventional tape recorder method. But now PhotoFast, a company from Taiwan, has found a solution to this problem with a new call recorder adapter ‘Call Recorder V2’. This recorder plugs into the Lighting port of the iPhone and records the calls made via services like Skype, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Line, Viber, and WeChat.

The device records in the .m4a format. The recorded files can be saved in either the local storage of your phone or in a microSD card. It has a record button which starts to record any incoming calls on being pressed. The recorder uses pulse code modulation like WAV, AAC and Apple Lossless c sampling to record the calls with the frequency of up to 48 KHz. The device functions in collaboration with a special app named Call Recorder+ that allows you to edit entries , cut out required parts and send them to cloud services. To maintain safety from unauthorized playback, it imbibes a four-digit pin code.

In addition to these functions, it also works as an external drive for the iPhone which can be used for archiving data by pressing a single button. The ‘Call Recorder V2’ supports almost all the known file formats including sound, graphics and office packages . The Call Recorder V2’ weighs just 11 grams and is very portable due to its size. It also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. This iphone call recorder has been priced at $125 by the company. This multifunctional device aims to help maintain calls on your iPhone with optimum ease.
