The hybrid is available in two variants – SG and SL. This Suzuki variant can be termed as an environmentally conscious car, as it saves fuel by switching automatically between the electric motor and the petrol engine. The less consumption of fuel also leads to less harmful gas emission. Maruti Suzuki will not be introducing the Hybrid version of the car in India. GST has imposed 43% tax on hybrid cars in the country. For the same reason, the makers are refraining from introducing the hybrid version on the current generation model as well.
