Even as Indian jawans laid down their lives to keep the civilians remain safe at Pampore, hundreds of locals from adjoining villages gathered across the river shouting anti-India slogans. In an explosive video shot by NewsX correspondent, it shows men shouting pro-Azaadi slogans.
 
The 48-hour long gunfight between a group of heavily-armed guerrillas and security forces had started on Saturday when guerrillas attacked a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) bus at Sempora (Pampore) on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway.
 
The gunfight ended on Monday evening with security forces saying they had killed three guerrillas hiding in the JKEDI complex. India lost five of its brave security personnel in the fight.
