BALI: Nabbed in Bali, Indonesia recently, Underworld don Chhota Rajan while recording his statement claimed that he has not surrendered before the Indonesian Police.

Answering the media queries, one of the most wanted an Indian criminal who is now in police custody informed that he was in fact arrested upon landing in Bali from Australia.

According to a media report, Rajan also claimed that he was not happy in Bali and wants to return to India.

Rubbishing the earlier reports that the don fearing his life wanted police to transport him to Zimbabwe, Rajan made it clear that he has no threat to his life and was not on his way to Zimbabwe.

Currently, the Indian authorities are working on the documentation that are to be provided for exile of the arrested Rajan from Indonesia following the signatures from two countries over an agreement to handover the criminal based on a court warrant.

55-year-old Rajan who was once a close associate of Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim is reported to be facing serious life threats from Karachi based don’s gang and has for long been switching from one country to another in Southeast Asia to avoid attempts on his life.

On being quizzed about the threats, Rajan said, “I am not scared,” while avoiding questions whether he has reached a deal with Indian Intelligence Agencies to head back to India.

Amid reports of rivals possibly eliminating him, the Indonesia Police provided Chhota Rajan a strong protective cover of special commandos.
