Hindu Sena ransacks PIA office in Delhi

PIA office attacked in Delhi

New Delhi: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) office at Barakhamba in New Delhi was today ransacked by fringe elements comprising four people.

According to reports, around 3:15 pm, four people disguised as customers entered the PIA office and ransacked it, in the process damaging office property including electronic equipment.  

A constable on duty noticed the fringe elements damaging the office and immediately detained one person.

One of the disguised individuals who was detained when questioned was later identified as Lalit Kumar. It was also revealed that the person was a leader of Hindu Sena.

The people who ransacked PIA were also carrying some pamphlets which were later recovered by the police. However, police officials said that the content in the pamphlets could not be revealed as the investigation was still on to find the reason behind this attack.

One person was detained by the Delhi police but the other three were able to escape from the spot. No causalities were reported in the attack.
