Muammar Gaddafi
A video has emerged online showing the deposed leader Muammar Gaddafi, who ruled Libya as a dictator for four decades, surrounded by NTC forces after the Battle of Sirte. The Libyan dictator is seen begging for his life in this short video in the last moments of his life.
The footage captured on the mobile phone shows Gaddafi begging for his life in the last moments before he was shot and executed. One of the fighters who dragged the dictator alive from Sirte in 2011 has shot this video. The deposed leader is surrounded by forces who had taken over most of Libya back then. The footage is the last moments of the dictator who ruled Libya for over 40 years. Members of the National Transitional Council (NTC), the forces that took over most of Libya and in the final moments, captured Muammar Gaddafi from Sirte.
In this disturbing visual, the leader is surrounded by the NTC forces that had already significantly wounded Gaddafi. And in these last moments before he was shot, Gaddafi is heard saying, "Please don't shoot me; please don't shoot me".
