NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is on a three-nation tour is expected to meet the family members of freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose during his visit to Germany. The report comes a day after it was exposed that former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru spied on Subhash Chandra Bose’s family for 20 years between 1948 and 1968, at the time Nehru was the PM of India.

According to a media report, PM Modi is expected to meet Surya, the grand nephew of Subhash Chandra Bose and a prominent businessman in Berlin during an interaction with Indian group.
Founded by his great uncle, Surya Bose is the President of the Indo-German Association in Hamburg.
Soon after the reports of Nehru spying on Bose’s family dropped in, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) slammed the Congress over the disclosure.
GVL Narsimha Rao, BJP spokesperson said, “This revelation has shocked the nation. Netaji’s daughter will meet the PM Modi when he visits Germany.”
Narendra Modi will head to Germany after winding up the first leg of his three-nation tour. Business and technology will be the focus of his trip and his engagements are aimed at attracting global participation in his ‘Make In India’ campaign.
