According to reports, the Indian government has out rightly rejected Pakistan's charges saying that the arrested individual has no links with the government. Also the Indian High Commission in Islamabad is seeking councillor access to the arrested man but giving the weekend in between the councilor acces to the arrested person may or may not be granted.
It can be seen as a big charade by Pakistan just before upcoming talks in Washington. Islamabad is seem to be under pressure in order to deliver on Pathankot attacks probe and therefore has come up with a 'spy' story.
