Apple’s IOS latest update 9.3.1 has been suffering from a significant battery life problem for many IPhone, Ipad and IPod. Abnormal battery drain is a common iOS problem and it always seems to show up right after an iOS release.

Last week, Apple came with its new update, primarily to address problems introduced in iOS 9.3.1. Apple has now fronted the problem and has admitted to the flaw.

Apple fessed up to the Washington Times, confirming iOS 9.3.1 contained a bug that made it easy to bypass lockscreen security to access user’s contact and photos.

Apple has also acted to jump on the bug which can be addressed without need for an additional software update.

Apple said, it could address the security flaw ‘server side’ and this would quickly roll out so “most consumers should have a fix in place.

The company’s defence of its customers civil liberties in its recent battle with the FBI which also means it must now always be seen to do the utmost for customer security at all times.
