President Mukherjee arrives in Papua New Guinea

India is looking to enter the health market of the island nation.

Papua New Guinea: President Pranab Mukherjee arrived at Papua New Guinea on Thursday in the first leg of his two-nation-tour during which he will hold talks with Prime Minister Peter O'Neill and other leaders.
Before his departure from India, his Press Secretary Venu Rajamony had said the visit was a natural extension of India's 'Look East' policy.
India is looking to enter the health market of the island nation.
He will also address a business event and an Indian community event.
The President will also give a speech at the Papua New Guinea University.
During his visit, several agreements are expected to be inked between the two countries in the field of education, health, connectivity, economic cooperation, agriculture and dairy farming.
This is President Mukherjee's first-ever state visit to the Pacific Island.
In the second phase of his tour, President Mukherjee is scheduled to visit New Zealand.
