Mahanta Thakur may meet some Indian politicians in New Delhi

Kathmandu: Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party (TMLP) chairman Mahanta Thakur will leave for New Delhi this afternoon for medical check-up.
"I am leaving for a follow-up check up on my foot," Kathmandu Post quoted Thakur as saying.
Thakur's personal aide Satyendra Kumar Mishra said that Thakur was flying to Delhi at 2:45 p.m. There has been no official confirmation that he would be meeting any political leaders during the trip.
Reports, however, suggest he may meet some Indian politicians in New Delhi.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the Federal Alliance, a group of 27 Madhesi-based parties including the Samyukta Madhesi Morcha, is scheduled to be held at Sanghiya Samajwadi Forum Nepal (SSFN) party office in Tinkune today.
SSFN chairman Upendra Yadav informed that discussions on the upcoming programmes of protest scheduled from May 14 onwards will be held in the meeting.
