Nepal Earthquake - 6.7 magnitude earthquake hits Nepal, fresh tremors felt across India

KATHMANDU: In one of most powerful earthquakes in last 80 years, over 2,000 people are feared dead as massive earthquake of 7.9 magnitude rocked Nepal on Saturday.

Major tremors were also felt across India including Delhi, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal which were the worst-hit parts of India in the quake. (Also Read: Powerful earthquake rocks Nepal, India; death toll continues to rise)

Over 60 people were killed and 250 were injured in various parts of the country in a quake that shook the nation.

The calamity has left Nepal devastated with buildings crashed down, roads cracked, telephone connectivity snapped, homes and iconic landmark, including historic Dharahara Tower being collapsed.
