PM woos Qatar businessmen, invites investors

Doha: Outlining India's 'investment- friendly policies', Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday, invited Qatar-based companies to invest in India, especially the infrastructure, railways, defence, manufacturing and food processing sector.
On the second day of his visit to the oil-rich Gulf nation, PM Modi held discussions with top business leaders of Qatar, and talked at length about the work done by his government over the last two years, to facilitate the ease of doing business. 
PM Modi asserted that the government had eased a lot of rules and norms to enable easier Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in a number of sectors, according to reports.
