Hillary Clinton not favoured by the search engine, clarifies Google

New Delhi: Internet power-house Google has clarified that its search engine has not provided any aid to Hillary Clinton’s prospects of winning the 2016 presidential elections in the United States of America.

A Google spokesperson said that the search giants’ auto complete does not favour any candidate or cause since the predictions produced are based on numerous factors including the popularity of search items.

The statement was made in response to a YouTube video by SourceFed which claimed that Google is hiding negative autocomplete results for Hillary Clinton. It pointed out that Google doesn't suggest "Hillary Clinton crimes" when you type in "Hillary Clinton cri," whereas both Yahoo and Bing do.

Google negates all accusations as their search engine is not programmed to favour any candidate. Thereafter, any attempts at soiling its name are baseless and a fruitless endeavour.
