New Delhi: An Indiana man was arrested by Santa Monica, California police on Sunday. The man was found with a cache of weapons, ammunition and explosive-making materials in his car.
During interrogation, the accused told the police that he had plans to attend the LA Pride festival "to harm Gay Pride event." The LA gay pride event is being held in West Hollywood.
The 20-year-old man was identified as James Howell by the Santa Monica police. They said that they were trying to ascertain what Howell planned to do with the cache of weapons.
Meanwhile, the annual parade went ahead as scheduled on Sunday morning under tight security conditions.
