New Delhi: In a tragic incident reported from Yemen, where at least four Yemeni troops lost their lives and dozens were wounded when two suicide bombers blew up their cars in the southern city of Aden, on Wednesday, July 6th.
The attackers detonated a car bomb at the entrance of the base, allowing a second vehicle to drive inside where it exploded, killing at least four among the military in an updated toll.
Sources say, the attackers were extremists and were targeting a military base adjoining Aden international airport in southern Yemen.
The clashes then broke out between troops and attackers in the base, which was sealed off by government forces, a witness said.

The explosion comes just a few weeks after the airport itself was hit by gunmen, who attacked the airport with various weapons on June 6.
