New Delhi: The terrorist mastermind behind the December 2014, Peshawar school attack has been killed in a drone strike carried out by the United States military, confirmed the Pakistani media.
The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) had claimed responsibility for the attack and had described the attack as a revenge for Operation Zarb-e-Azb carried out by the Pakistan military.
"We targeted the school because the army targets our families. We want them to feel our pain," TTP spokesman had said after the attack at the Army Public School.
Umar Mansoor, the mastermind behind the one of the worst terrorist attack which resulted in the death of 122 students and 22 teachers, was killed in a US drone strike at Bandar area of Afghanistan along with another leader Qari Saifullah on Saturday.
