New Delhi: Prominent Indian leaders reacted to the horrendous terror attack in Nice, France which lead to the death of more than 8o people and 100 others injured. France was celebrating its National Day by commemorating the Storming of the Bastille on July 14, 1789 during the French Revolution.

President of India Pranab Mukherjee reacted to the news by expressing shock and said that India would strengthen cooperation with other countries to fight against terrorism.

 

 

 

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed solidarity for France.

 

Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaitley condemned the killing of innocent people and expressed his solidarity with the victims of the attack.

 

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi condemned the attack and said that the virtue of humanity should be shared.

After the attack, French President Francois Hollanded extended the State of Emergency in the country by three months.
