Machete attack in Reutlingen, Germany; 1 killed, 2 injured

New Delhi: Another incident of a random attack on passersby took place on Sunday where a woman was killed and two others were injured following a machete attack in Reutlingen near Stuttgart, Germany.
According to reports, the incident took place after a man who was wielding a machete randomly attacked passersby in the street near a doner kebab stand at Listplatz square.
Following the incident, the police have arrested a suspect who is believed to be a Syrian refugee and said that the attacker was acting alone.
The area has been cordoned off and police have alerted the neighbourhood.
However, the reason of the attack is unclear and is yet to be investigated.
