Militants attack foreign nationals in Herat, Afghanistan

Kabul: At least four people were wounded on Thursday after a group of 11 foreign tourists were attacked in Herat, Afghanistan by unknown gunmen, according to media reports. 

According to reports, militants attacked the group of foreign tourists in the Chesht-e-Sharif district of Herat province on when they were on their way to Herat from Bamiyan and Ghor provinces. It is also unclear that for what purpose these foreign nationals were there in Herat, Afghanistan.

However, no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

There have been advisories put by all the countries for their nationals to not to travel to Afghanistan unless it is absolute required.
