New Delhi: America is gearing up for the upcoming elections and it seems the Hollywood actors and actresses have also caught the fever of campaigns. The stars are showing their support for their favourite nominees. They are staunchly advocating for Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton using their popularity to influence the public. From Twitter campaigns to events, every star is endorsing their favourite candidate in their own way.
Here are some of the endorsers who are making the elections super fun:
Leonardo DiCaprio: The American actor and producer DiCaprio is endorsing Clinton and is hosting a $33, 400 per-head fundraiser for the Democratic candidate Clinton and the DNC this month.
Chloe Grace Moretz’s: Model and actress Chloe is also supporting Hillary Clinton. In her speech, at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Philadelphia, she praised Clinton and said “My First Vote For President Will be For Hillary Clinton.” Speaking about her first time voting experience, the 19-year-old actress said "I am so excited to be able to say that my first vote for president will be for Hillary Clinton," Moretz said. "What's wild is that nearly four out of five young people actually stayed home in the 2014 congressional elections. Imagine what can happen if we all make our voice hear this November at the ballot box."
Teresa Giudice: The reality TV star is backing Republican candidate Donald Trump in the upcoming US elections. "Of course I'm going to vote for Donald Trump," she said. "I think he's amazing. I think he'll make a great president."
Katy Perry: A supporter of Hillary Clinton. Perry has been campaigning for the Democratic candidate since October 2015. She has performed many events in support of President Obama in 2012.
Scott Baio: The television actor Scott has been a vocal supporter of Trump and believes that the Republican candidate will fix all the things wrong with America.
Oprah Winfrey: The long time supporter of President Obama is backing Hillary Clinton. She said “I am with her. I have to say I’m with her.”
Martin Shkreli: "Pharma Bro" Martin Shirley, is the latest figure to endorse Donald Trump. He tweeted during the Republican National Convention, "RNC is pumping me up. Cannot resist...." Shortly thereafter, as Ivanka Trump spoke, he posted, "Trump has my unmitigated endorsement. It was hard won and I was skeptical. The entire Trump family convinced me."
Hulk Hogan: The former American wrestler likes Donald Trump so much that he wants to be his running mate.
Larry King: Television host Larry who is an old friend of Donald Trump will vote for Hillary Clinton. “So, while I like him... And I don’t think he is a racist, but i don’t agree with him on his stance with keeping people out of the country, building a wall... I know Hillary well, too. I will vote for her probably,” Larry said.
Kirstie Alley: The actress has always voiced her support for Donald Trump. She wrote on her Twitter account: "HELLO BOYS! this is my formal endorsement of @realDonaldTrump & I'm a woman! (last I checked) And Rudy, U R amazing!"
Beyonce: The singer, producer and actress, has given money for the Clinton campaign and is a pal to the Obamas.
