Dhaka: The Bangladesh police on Saturday claimed that they have successfully gunned down four terrorists including the perpetrator of the Dhaka cafe terror attack. 
It is reported that the Bangladesh Police raided the hideout of the terrorists in Naraynganj on Dhaka outskirts, killing the mastermind of the attack, Tamim Ahmed Chowdhury.
On July 1 night, five militants entered a famous cafe in Bangladesh’s Dhaka killing 29 people. 
The Bangladesh authorities also ruled out any link of the terror outfit, Islamic State (IS) with the dreadful attack, but that the attackers were Bangladeshi nationals. 
It is believed that the attack was made with the intention of killing non-Muslims, as the attackers made the hostages recite verses from Quran. those who could were spared, and those who couldn't were put to death. 
Out of the total people killed, nine were Italians, seven Japanese, one Indian Bangladesh-American and two Bangladeshis.
