India hits out at Pakistan in UN

New Delhi: In the 33rd regular session of United Nations Human Rights Commission, UNHRC in Geneva on Wednesday for the first time ever India raised the issue of Balochistan. India even pointed out at Pakistan for creating ruckus in Balochistan as well as in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Ajit said, “It will be in the fitness of things if Pakistan focuses its energies on improving human rights situation within Pak & PoK". He even added, “Pakistan characterised by authoritarianism, absence of democratic norms & widespread human rights violations across country including Balochistan.

However, Pakistan responded to India at UNHRC but did not mention anything about PoK or Balochistan in their statement.

Ajit Kumar, the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of India to United Nations made it very clear that the entire Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and that Pakistan has illegally occupied the certain part of the territory. He even asserted that the 'Indian administered Kashmir' IOK is an artificial one.
