22 killed, 29 injured in suicide attack in Pakistan mosque

New Delhi: At least 16 worshippers were killed and 23 injured on Friday after a suicide attack in a mosque at the Mohmand Agency of Pakistan.

In the meantime, the injured were admitted to hospitals in Bajaur Agency, Charsadda and Peshawar for treatment. However, so far, no terror organisation has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Pakistan has been in the grid of constant terror attacks where mosques have been particlualry targeted the most by terror groups.

Earlier on September 2, at least 18 people were killed in two separate terror attacks in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and another 13 including four lawyers and three policemen lost their lives near the entrance of Mardan's district and sessions court.
