New York: US President Barack Obama on Tuesday addressed the 71st Session of  United Nations General Assembly in New York. 
 
Speaking on the occasion,  President Obama touched upon the topic of India and China’s incredible economic growth. 
 
“China and India remain on a path of remarkable growth,” he said. 
 
Addressing the refugee problem, President Obama appealed to nations to deal the issue with more empathy.
 
“In the eyes of innocent men, women, children who had to flee what they love, we have to have empathy,” he said. 
 
This was Obama’s last speech at the UN General Assembly since US is all set to go for presidential polls later in the year.
