PAKISTAN: Chief of Pakistani hard-line party Jamaat-e-Islami, Siraj Ul-Haq Khan in a shocking announcement has declared a 1 billion bounty for arresting Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
The declaration was made by Khan while he was delivering a blazing speech at a gathering held in Rawalakot region of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Based on the beliefs of establishing Sharia law, the Jamaat-e-Islami has been a big member in the Pakistani politics and its Chief made the blistering remark in support of one of the most wanted terrorists by Indian agencies, Syed Salahuddin, Hizbul Mujahideen chief.
Daring the Indian PM, the man even claimed that Modi and all his agents can never arrest Syed Salahuddin.
“You say whoever arrests Salahuddin we will give him 50 crore. I declare that whosoever arrests Narendra Modi, we will give him 1 billion,” Siraj Ul-Haq said during his speech.
The comments from the Pakistani leader came at a time while India is move towards the United Nations for declaring Syed Salahuddin an international terrorist.
The objective has yet not been achieved due to several hurdles such as proposal being constantly blocked in the UN Security Council by China.
On the other hand, several separatist leaders have gone on a rampage making anti-India statements and waving Pakistani flags in Jammu and Kashmir following a formation of coalition government (BJP-PDP) in the state.
Khan also mentioned about Pro-Pakistan hardliner Syed Ali Shah Geelani in his speech who on Monday made sensational claims that Pakistani flags will continue to be waved in Jammu and Kashmir as the neighbor country is our well-wisher.(Also Read: Pakistani flags have been waved since 1947. This will continue in Kashmir as Pakistan is our well-wisher, says separatist leader Geelani)
Jamaat-e-Islami chief said that Geelani spent most of his life in jail because of his love for Pakistan. He added that Kashmir and the people living there are an integral part of Pakistan, adding that friendship with India was possible only if Kashmir was given an independent space and those trying to talk to India without such a scenario were traitors.
Taking his attack further, the pro-Pakistan leader said that leaders of his country who are in conversation related to friendship with India were either deaf or dumb, or in a conspiracy with Indians. He added that such traitors should go to Mumbai.
Targeting PM Modi and holding him responsible for several killings in Kashmir and Gujarat, he then in his hate-speech against India said that Pakistani leaders were simply turning blind to the alleged Indian killing in Kashmir.
With 4 seats in the Pakistani Parliament, the Jamaat-e-Islami is a hard-line fundamentalist party holds enough political impact in certain pockets of the country.
