New Delhi: Just a day after India launched a successful surgical strike across the Line of Control (LoC) and incapacitated more than 30 terrorists from infiltrating into Indian territory, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif called for an Emergency Meeting on Friday.
According to the CNN, the emergency meeting will be held on the behest of the Pakistan PM wanting to discuss the 'deteriorating situation' in Kashmir, an issue which Pakistan has raised time and again in the United Nations.
Pakistan's military refutes all claims made by the Indian Army and maintains that two Pakistani soldiers were killed after Indian troops engaged in unprovoked firing across the LoC.
Nawaz Sharif called India's attack a naked aggression and said that Pakistan was able of defending its country against any "evil designs".
Albeit the meeting has been suspected to be called on the pretext of discussing situations in Jammu and Kashmir, it is expected that the officials attending the meeting will discuss the latest development.
