New Delhi: A day after India conducted surgical strike at the Line of Control (LoC), Afghanistan on Friday came in full support to India and backed its action for strike on terror launch pads.
Supporting India’s stand, Afghanistan ambassador Shaida Mohd Abdali said, “Pakistan can’t live in denial, denial has to end. If terror group exists, self defence in the form of action we saw, will continue.”
“Can’t share details. MEA did brief us on action taken by India. No doubt that Pak State sponsors terror. No ques of non-state actors. If yes, then they are supported by State,” Afghan Ambassador added.
Speaking on SAARC Summit, Afghan Ambassador said, “Right now the environment is not conducive to conduct SAARC summit with terrorism continuing in region.”
Abdali also commented on Balochistan saying, “We sympathise with people of Balochistan. We hope the Baloch will have a life free of terror and live peacefully.”
Afghanistan is not the only country which has backed India on its surgical strike. Yesterday, Bangladesh while expressing its support had said, “India has got all legal, internationally accepted right to make a response to any attack on her sovereignty and her soil.”
