Pakistan Regulatory Authority has banned all Indian channels effectively from today

New Delhi: The aftermath of the Uri attack and the surgical strikes carried out by the Indian Army has reverberated loudly both in India and Pakistan. All Indian channels were banned by Pakistan on Saturday.

Just a few days after Pakistani actors in Bollywood were banned by the Maharashtra Navnirman ShivSena (MNS) where prominent actor like Fawad Khan had to return back home, Pakistan stopped all Indian channels from being televised in the country.

In a press release, PEMRA wrote, "PEMRA has warned that strict action would be taken according to law after October 15 if TV channels and distribution networks failed to follow the directions."

Pakistan Regulatory Authority has banned all Indian channels effectively from today.

The bitter relations between the two countries have resulted in public backlash against institutions unrelated to terrorism. Bollywood actors supporting the vocation of Pakistani actors have been thoroughly condemned.
