New Delhi: In another embarrassment for Pakistan, the Kotli residents in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) took to the streets to protest against atrocities committed by the Pakistan Army and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
This has not been the first time when residents of PoK or Balochistan have protested against Pakistani army. A couple of days ago, exiled Baloch leader Khan of Kalat Amir Suleman Daud had hit out at Pakistan for conducting military operations in Balochistan.
"Pak is conducting military ops in Balochistan. They're doing it in Sindh, Karachi & bordering areas," he said.
People of Balochistan got a new voice after Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Indepedence Day from the Red Fort raised the issue of Balochistan which said that Pakistani army was conducting atrocities on its residents.
Amidst all this, another exiled Baloch leader Brahumdagh Bugti of Baloch Republican Party (BRP), who was heading the movement in Balochistan, had previously approached the Indian Embassy in Geneva to seek asylum in India.
