New Delhi: Slamming Pakistan on the issue of terrorism at the United Nation, India’s Permanent Representative to UN Syed Akbaruddin on Wednesday said, “Our response to Pakistan is consistent, abandon your futile quest. Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) is an integral part of India and will remain so.”
Further exposing Pakistan’s support to terror groups, India’s Permanent Representative to UN said, “Islamabad uses terrorists in it’s international quest. No amount of misuse of international fora by Pakistan will change the reality, sell by date of Pakistan’s anachronistic approach is over.”
“Country which has established itself as global epicentre of terror. Such claims (Kashmir) find no resonance among global community. We look away as some amongst us stall our collective efforts, as they use terrorist proxies in such territorial quests,” Akbaruddin added.
Post the deadly Uri terror attack on India army base, where 19 Indian soldiers were martyred, India put on its efforts to diplomatically isolate Pakistan in the world forum by exposing its support to the terror outfits.
US, UK, Russia, Australia, France, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and other countries had condemned the cowardly Uri attacks and asked Pakistan to act against terror.
